Fun City Board Game Review
While Fun City does add some interesting mechanics to a traditional roll and move game, it falls into many of the all too familiar faults with the roll and move genre.

With some added elements and some new rules, Clue Master Detective succeeds in improving on the original Clue.
Take a basic trick taking card game and merge it with a traditional roll and move game. You would have made the game Won Over which tries to blend these two mechanics together. While Won Over is not great, it may provide some entertainment to people who are fans of the trick taking genre of games.
Become part of a group of acrobats as they try to raise their “Mama” higher and higher into the air. Carefully add another piece to the bottom in order to raise the tower. Make sure not to tip over the tower though and drop Mama. Don’t Drop Mama has some interesting gameplay mechanics but it gets boring pretty quickly.

In 1965 Parker Brothers created the classic game Booby-Trap. Until recently I had never played the game before. The game is a decent distraction despite being highly reliant on luck.
Despite your pleas of innocence, you have been locked in a deep dark dungeon. You need to try and escape from the dungeon before it is too late. With your trusty dice, you need to roll your way to safety. While Dungeon Dice is not a terrible game, it is far from original.
In 1970 Parker Brothers tried to create their own version of air hockey with the game Buckshot. Buckshot is billed as the “world’s fastest indoor game.” Unfortunately the game is slower than advertised and is just plain boring.
Scrabble Upwords (or Upwords as it was originally called) is a game where you try to build words with tiles. Unlike Scrabble though you are able to build words by stacking tiles on top of tiles already on the board. While Scrabble Upwords is not a fantastic game, I think it is a very solid word game.
