Originally created in 2001 for the Nintendo Gamecube, Pikmin is a real time strategy game which spawned two sequels in 2004 and 2013. In the Pikmin games you control an astronaut who uses Pikmin, cute little plant like creatures, it order to help them retrieve parts and fight against the enemies they encounter.
This post includes patterns to create a red, yellow and blue Pikmin. The three Pikmin stand between 9-10 inches tall. The majority of the pattern is the same for all three Pikmin but each color has one unique part. You will also have to choose which stem you want to add to the top of the Pikmin.

Between each petal you will do a SC stitch for the next two stitches in the circle that you have been creating. This pattern of creating a petal and then doing two SC stitches is repeated five times.
Fasten off leaving some white yarn to sew the flower onto the stem.

Assembly
Begin by sewing the stem onto the top of the Pikmin. Sew the arms onto the body on the left and right sides of the rounder part of the body. Sew the legs onto the bottom of the body. Sew the eyes onto the head portion of the body.
For the red Pikmin sew the nose below the eyes so the nose points downwards.
For the blue Pikmin sew the mouth below the eyes.
For the yellow Pikmin sew the ears to the left and right side of the eyes making sure the pointed side of the ears are pointed away from the head.
