Objective of Yeti in My Spaghetti
The objective of Yeti in My Spaghetti is to remove a noodle from the bowl without knocking the Yeti into the bowl.
Setup
- Place the Bowl on a flat level playing surface.
- Lay the noodles across the top of the Bowl in a criss-cross pattern. You should place the noodles randomly outside of following the criss-cross pattern.
- Place the Yeti on top of the noodles. You should place the Yeti towards the center of the bowl.
- The oldest player starts the game. Play proceeds in a clockwise (left) direction.
How to Play Yeti in My Spaghetti
On your turn you will have to try to remove one noodle from the top of the bowl while avoiding knocking the Yeti into the bowl. You can choose which noodle you wish to try to remove. You can use any method you prefer to try and remove the noodle from the bowl. This can include sliding, slipping, pushing, lifting, etc.
When trying to remove a noodle you must follow two rules.
Once you touch a noodle you must remove that noodle. You are not allowed to touch different noodles to test how easy they will be to remove.
You may use both of your hands to remove a noodle. Only one hand can touch the noodle at a time though.
What happens next depends on if you successfully remove the noodle you chose.
Successfully Removing A Noodle
If you successfully remove a noodle and the Yeti does not fall into the bowl, you have succeeded.
Play passes to the player on your left.
Yeti Falls into Bowl
Eventually a player will remove a noodle which will lead to the Yeti falling into the Bowl. If the Yeti falls into the bowl while you are still moving the noodle or shortly after you have removed it (before the next player takes their turn), you have failed to remove the noodle.
The Yeti is only considered to have fallen into the Bowl when it is touching the bottom of the Bowl. If it is still hanging from a noodle, it is considered to not have fallen into the Bowl yet.
Once the Yeti falls into the Bowl, the game ends immediately. The last player to successfully remove a noodle from the Bowl without knocking the Yeti into the Bowl, wins the game.
