For those of you who are not huge board game fans, you may not know what a Meeple is. The term Meeple generally refers to little wooden playing pieces that kind of look like humans that are used a lot in euro-style board games. The Meeple first gained popularity from the board game Carcassonne since they were the main pieces used by players in the game. Since Carcassonne Meeples have grown in popularity and today you can find all different types of Meeples.
This post provides step-by-step instructions on how to crochet your own little Meeple amigurumi. This pattern creates a Meeple that is approximately 3-4 inches tall. I chose to make a blue Meeple but you can obviously use whatever color you prefer since the color doesn’t impact the pattern.
