Being a huge Star Wars fan this week I decided to create an amigurumi for the newest film in the franchise Star Wars Rogue One. My favorite character from the movie was the robot K-2SO. For those of you who haven’t seen the movie yet, K-2SO is a former Empire droid that was reprogrammed to work for the Rebel Alliance and helps in their attempt to steal the Death Star plans. Basically K-2SO is what you would get if you took C-3PO and gave him an attitude.
This post provides step-by-step instructions on how to crochet your own K-2SO amigurumi. The K-2SO amigurumi is around 12-13 inches tall. I would classify the pattern as easy to moderately difficult. The pattern doesn’t use any difficult stitches but using black yarn is sometimes more difficult since it is harder to see stitches with darker colored yarn.
