The Bearded Ladies

A review of the 2023 indie tactical strategy RPG Miasma Chronicles developed by The Bearded Ladies and published by 505 Games.

Corruption 2029 shares a lot in common with Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden and even if it never reaches the same level as its predecessor it still is a highly entertaining tactical strategy game.

Mutant Year Zero: Seed of Evil is basically what you would expect out of a DLC as it expands on what made the original game so enjoyable, but it doesn’t drastically change anything about the game.

Due to a fantastic atmosphere, fun and yet challenging gameplay, and some original gameplay mechanics; Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden has arguably succeeded at improving upon its inspiration XCOM.
