Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX does a great job bringing an old classic to the present day with a new shiny coat of paint and other tweaks but still has some of the issues of a game that is 35 years old at this point.
There are a few issues, but Mighty Goose is a fun action-packed shoot ’em up that fans of the genre or silly games in general should enjoy.
Just Die Already is a silly somewhat outrageous game that can be quite funny at times, but that silliness leads to its own problems.
King of Seas does a good job recreating what people enjoyed about the Sid Meier’s Pirates! franchise even if this leads to some of its own problems.
Biomutant is a little too ambitious at times leading to some issues, but it is still a highly engaging massive open world game that was a blast to play.
Buildings Have Feelings Too! starts a little slow, but if you can get past it there is a satisfying unique puzzle game to enjoy.
Spacebase Startopia has some really interesting ideas and is a unique experience, but it is a little rough around the edges.
Black Legend has a good atmosphere and some fun and unique combat, but it suffers from sometimes being a little too harsh on players.
Paradise Lost’s gameplay is quite limited which will likely turn off a lot of players, but underneath is an intriguing atmosphere built around an interesting alternative history story.
