Playing Spirit Untamed Spirit Stackin’ Apples
To begin your turn you will choose one of the facedown apples from the table and turn it over. Each of the apples have a number printed on it. You should look at the number as it determines how many times you can press the button on Spirit’s hoof.
If you pick an apple that has an eaten apple symbol on it, you can take a special action (see below for more details).
After looking at the number, place the apple on top of Spirit’s nose. If there are already apples on the nose, you should place your apple on top of the stack. Should any apples fall off while you are placing your apple, you will stack them back on the nose. When placing your apple, you can also choose to adjust the position of the stack.
You will then press the button on Spirit’s hoof. You can press it up to the number that was on the apple you chose this turn. For example if you picked up a three apple, you can press the button one, two or three times.
After you have finished pressing the button, your turn ends. Play passes to the next player (the game does not specify whether play passes left or right).
Yummy Apple Rule
If you pick up an apple with the yummy apple icon, you will choose one of two options.
First you can add it to the stack on Spirit’s nose like other apples. You will press the button on Spirit’s hoof one time.
Otherwise you can decide to keep the apple. Add it to your personal score pile, and end your turn. Play passes to the next player (the game does not specify whether gameplay passes left or right).
Eating Apples
As you press the button on Spirit’s hoof, one of two things can happen.
Most of the time nothing will happen. You will keep pressing the hoof until you have used up all of your presses, or you decide to stop. You turn then ends. Play passes to the next player.
Sometimes Spirit will try to eat the apples on its nose. It will snap its head back. If Spirit eats any of the apples, the player who pressed the button takes the apples and adds them to their score pile. Any apples that don’t fall into Spirit’s mouth are flipped face down and added to the rest of the apples in the middle of the table.
After trying to eat apples, you will have to reset Spirit. Press down on the head until it sits down. Play then passes to the next player.
Winning Spirit Untamed Spirit Stackin’ Apples
Spirit Untamed Spirit Stackin’ Apples ends when there are no apples left in the middle of the table or on Spirit’s head.
If there are still apples left on Spirit’s head when the last apple is drawn, the players take turns pressing the button on Spirit’s hoof one time. When Spirit eats the apples, the player who last pressed the button gets to take them. If any of the apples fall to the table, turn them face down and continue playing the game.
When all of the apples have been collected by one of the players, the game ends. Each player counts up how many apples they ate. The numbers on the apples don’t matter. The player that collected the most apples wins the game.
