Objective
The objective of Picky Kitty is to be the first player to get rid of all of your vegetables.
Setup
- Insert the tail into the back of the cat. Keep pushing until you hear a click sound.
- Attach the plate to the kitty’s arms by inserting the pins on the plate into the holes in the cat’s hands.
- Place the cat in the center of the table where everyone can reach it.
- Push the kitty’s head forward until it clicks into place.
- Evenly split the vegetables between all of the players.
- The player who most recently ate vegetables starts the game.
How to Play Picky Kitty
To begin each of your turns you will spin the spinner. What you spin on the spinner determines what you will do on your turn.
If you spin a one, you will take one of your vegetables and place it on the plate.
Should you spin a two, you will take two of your vegetables and place them on the plate.
When placing vegetables onto the plate you should be careful. The plate is sensitive and you don’t want to trigger it when placing your vegetables on it.
When you spin a present, choose one of your vegetables. Choose another player to give the vegetable to.
After you have taken your turn, play passes to the player on your left.
Picking Up Vegetables
You are forced to pick up vegetables in two different scenarios.
If any vegetables fall off the plate while you are placing your vegetables, you will add any that fall off to your pile.
Otherwise the kitty will occasionally flip up the plate knocking off all of the vegetables. In this scenario you will pick up two of the tossed vegetables and add them to your pile. Any additional thrown vegetables are returned to the box.
Whenever the plate is flipped up, you will reset it by pushing forward on the kitty’s head.
Winning the Game
The first player to get rid of their last vegetable wins the game.
