Objective

The objective of the Never Have I Ever is to be the first player to collect ten Play Cards.

Setup

  • Remove the Rule Cards from the box. Place them facedown on the table.
  • Deal ten Play Cards to each player. Keep the rest of the cards in the box.
  • Decide which player has the coolest shoes. The player to their right gets to start the game.

Playing Never Have I Ever

To start each turn you will draw a Rule Card from the pile. You will read the directions on the card out loud so all of the players can hear. You will then place the card face up on the table.

Rule card
For this Rule Card the player that drew it picks two Play Cards from their hand. One of the cards they are guilty of, and the other they are innocent of. The player to their left has to try and guess which card is which.

Each Rule Card tells you what the players have to do for the rest of the round. All of the players will follow what is printed on the card. If you for some reason can’t play a Rule Card, draw a new Rule Card for the round.

Playing Play Cards in Never Have I Ever
For this round the current player played two Play Cards. The player is guilty of doing what is printed on one of the two cards.

After you have completed whatever was printed on the Rule Card, each player draws new Play Cards until they have ten cards left in their hand.

The player to the left of the current player then starts the next round by drawing a new Rule Card.

Gaining Play Cards

Whenever you are guilty of what is printed on a Play Card (following the Rule Card), you will take the card and place it face up in front of you.

Earning a Play Card
The next player incorrectly guessed what card the current player was guilty of. The current player earns the Play Card they are guilty of. They will place the card in front of themselves.

If no one is guilty of a Play Card, you will discard the card.

Winning the Game

The first player to acquire ten Play Cards in front of them wins the game.

Winning Never Have I Ever
