Objective of I Wish I Didn’t Know

The objective of I Wish I Didn’t Know is to correctly guess the answers to question to earn five cards before the other players.

Setup

  • Choose a player to be the host. The game suggests picking the player that bought the game. This role will rotate throughout the game.

Playing I Wish I Didn’t Know

The current host draws one of the cards from the box. They will read out the question and the multiple-choice answers to all of the players.

The player to the left of the reader then chooses one of the multiple-choice answers.

Question card
For this card the player has to figure out how much Ronald Wayne sold his shares of Apple for in 1976. The correct answer is $800.

After the player chooses an answer, the host looks at the answer on the card. What happens next depends on whether the player guessed the correct answer.

If the player guessed the right answer, they win the card and set it in front of themselves.

Answering a question correctly
This player guessed the correct answer. They will keep the card and score a point from it.

If they guess wrong, the host announces the correct answer. No one receives the card as it is returned to the back of the box.

The role of the host passes to the player to the left of the current host. Another round is then played.

Winning the Game

The first player to collect five cards wins I Wish I Didn’t Know.
