Trivia card

Trivia Card

When you draw a trivia card you will read the card to yourself first. Decide how you would answer the question.

After you have come up with your answer to the question, you will read the card out loud to the rest of the players. Once the whole question has been read, the other players try to guess the answer that you came up with for the question.

The first player to say the answer that you came up with for the question gets to keep the card. They will place the card in front of themselves.

Trivia card from Do You Really Know Your Family?
For this card the current player has to think of what they would first buy if they won the lottery. The current player decides on a house being their answer to the question. The first player to say house wins the card.

If multiple players provide the correct answer at the same time, the current player decides which of the tied players gets to keep the card.

If the players are having a hard time guessing the answer, you can start giving them hints until someone provides the correct answer.

Challenge card

Challenge Cards

If you draw a challenge card, you will read the card out loud.

All of the players will then try to complete the challenge as quickly as possible. The first player to complete the challenge gets to take the card. Some cards have the current player choose another player to attempt the challenge. Only that player can complete the challenge.

Challenge card example in Do You Really Know Your Family?
For this round the current player picks another player. They have to name six cartoon characters in ten seconds. For example they could say Ash Ketchum, Homer Simpson, Fred Flintsone, Scooby Doo, George Jetson, and Mickey Mouse. If they name all six characters in time, they will take the card.

If no one completes the challenge or no one decides to do it, you will discard the card.

End of Turn

After you have completed the card for the current round, your turn ends as the current player.

Play then passes to the next player who draws the card for the next round. The game does not specify who takes the next turn. I would recommend either the next player clockwise or counter-clockwise.
