Numbers
Number cards have no special action in the game. You can only play them if they match the number or color of the top card on the Discard Pile.

Draw Two
When you play a Draw Two card, the next player in turn order has to draw two cards from the Draw Pile. They will add the cards to their hand, and then their turn is skipped.
You can play a Draw Two on top of another Draw Two or a card that matches its color. You cannot play your own Draw Two card in order to avoid having to draw two cards after a Draw Two card is played against you.

Reverse
The Reverse card changes the direction of play. To start the game play moves clockwise. If play is moving clockwise, the Reverse card changes it to move counterclockwise. If play is moving counterclockwise, the Reverse card changes it to move clockwise.
You can play a Reverse card on top of another Reverse card or a card that matches its color.

Skip
When you play a Skip card, the next player in turn order loses their turn.
You can play a Skip card on top of another Skip card, or a card that matches its color. If a Skip card is played against you, you cannot play your own Skip card in order to avoid the penalty.

Wild
Wild cards match every other card in the game, so you can play them at any time. When you play a Wild card, you get to choose the color for the Discard Pile. You can choose any of the four colors. The next player in turn order has to play a card of the color you chose, or they have to play their own wild card.

Wild Draw Four
The Wild Draw Four card matches every other card in the game. There is a catch though. If you have a card in your hand that matches the current color of the Discard Pile, you cannot play a Wild Draw Four. Wild cards are considered matches for the color.

When you play a Wild Draw Four you get to choose the color for the Discard Pile. This has no impact on any potential challenges.
The next player in turn order then has a decision to make. They can choose to accept that you played the card correctly. In this case they have to draw four cards, and they lose their turn.
Challenge
Otherwise the next player could choose to challenge the play of the card. In this case the player who played the Wild Draw Four has to show the challenger all of the cards in their hand. The challenger is looking to see if there is a card that matches the color of the Discard Pile.
If there are no cards in the player’s hand that match the Discard Pile’s color, they played the card correctly. For the failed challenge, the challenger now has to draw six cards.

If there was one or more cards in the player’s hand that matches the Discard Pile’s color, they played the card incorrectly. The player who played the Wild Draw Four has to draw the four cards. The challenger doesn’t have to draw any cards, and they don’t lose their turn.

Wild Wayfinder
The Wild Wayfinder card is unique to UNO Moana 2. The card is wild so it can be played at any time.
When you play the Wild Wayfinder card, you will start looking through the Discard Pile starting at the top. Keep searching through the pile until you find the first Draw Two or Wild Draw Four card. Once you find either of the cards, you will stop searching through the Discard Pile.
Take the Draw Two or Wild Draw Four card you find and place it on top of the Discard Pile. The next player in turn order has to draw the corresponding number of cards. The next player also loses their turn.
If a Draw Two card is placed on the Discard Pile, the Discard Pile becomes the color of the Draw Two card. If a Wild Draw Four card is placed on top of the Discard Pile, the player who played the Wild Wayfinder card chooses the color for the Discard Pile.
