Mattel has released a series of UNO Add-On Packs for the card game UNO. The normal rules of UNO still apply, but you can add these packs to a standard UNO deck in order to change up the gameplay. You need a standard deck of UNO in order to use any of the packs. Each pack adds 16 new cards.

Reverse Pack
The UNO Add-On Reverse Pack adds four new Reverse cards to the game.

Reverse Draw Two
When you play a Reverse Draw Two card, you will reverse the direction of play. The next player in the new direction draws two cards, and loses their turn.
The Reverse Draw Two card matches every other Reverse and Draw Two card regardless of their color.

Reverse Skip
The Reverse Skip card changes the direction of play. The first player in the new direction also loses their turn.
The card matches all other Reverse and Skip cards regardless of their color.

Wild No U
You can play the Wild No U card in two different ways.
Should a player play an Action Card that forces you to draw cards, you can play the Wild No U card. The direction of play is reversed, and the player who played the Action Card has to take the penalty from the card they played.

Otherwise you can play the card like a normal card. In this case you will reverse the order of play.
In either case you get to choose the color for the discard pile.

Wild Power Reverse
The card is wild so it can be played at any time.
When you play the card, you will change the direction of play. Next you choose the color for the Discard Pile. Finally you get to take another turn.

Speed Pack
When using the Speed Pack UNO Add-On, the game begins at speed level one.
The cards in the Speed Pack include a unique “Speed Up” icon. Whenever you play a card with one of these icons, the current speed level increases by one for the next player. The first time a Speed Up icon is played, the speed level increases to two. The next time the icon is played, the speed level increases to three.

In normal UNO you can only play one card each turn. While using the Speed Pack, the number of cards you play each turn depends on the current speed level. So for example the current speed level is three, you have to play three cards on your turn.
When playing cards, you play them one at time. Your first card has to match the top card from the Discard Pile. Your second card then has to match the first card you played. This continues until you play enough cards to match the current speed level.

There is one tweak to the rules regarding Action cards (anything other than number cards) when using the Speed Pack. When you have to play more than one card on your turn, the effect of Action Cards only apply when they are the last card you play. For example if you play an Draw Two card as your second of three cards, the next player does not have to draw the two cards.

Wild Double Speed Up
The Wild Double Speed Up card is wild so it can be played at any time. When you play the card, the current speed level increases by two levels.
Like other wild cards, you get to choose the color for the Discard Pile whenever you play a Wild Double Speed Up card.
Unable to Play Enough Cards
If you unable to play enough cards to match the current Speed Level, you play as many cards as you can play.
You then draw cards from the Draw Pile equal to the current Speed Level. For example the Speed Level is three, you have to draw three cards.

Whenever a player has to draw cards because they couldn’t match the Speed limit, the Speed Limit is reset to one. The next player only has to play one card on their turn.

Stack Pack
The Stack Pack adds the popular house rule of “stacking” to UNO. The pack includes four unique cards.

Stack 1
You can play a Stack 1 card in three different ways
First you can play it like a normal card if it matches the color of the Discard Pile. In this case it acts like a Draw One card. The next player has to draw one card, and they lose their turn.

Next you can play it in response to a Draw Two or Wild Draw Four card being played against you. You can only play it in this case if your card matches the color of the Draw Two, or the color chosen for the Wild Draw Four. When you play the card in this way, you take the previous penalty and add one card to it. The penalty then passes to the next player who has to draw all of the cards.

Finally you can play a Stack 1 card if the previous player played a Stack card. For example the previous player played a Stack 2 card. Instead of drawing the two cards, you can play a Stack 1 card which passes the penalty to the next player. They will have to draw three cards.

It is possible that multiple Stack cards could be played to pass the penalty. For example Player A plays a Draw Two card which would normally affect Player B. Player B plays a Stack 1 card passing a three card penalty to Player C. Player C could play their own Stack 1 card to pass a four card penalty onto the next player. This continues until someone is unable to play a Stack card.

Stack 2
The Stack 2 is the same as a Stack 1 card. The only difference is that it requires a player to draw two cards instead of the one card from a Stack 1 card.

Wild Stack 3
The Wild Stack 3 card is wild so it matches any card.
First you can play it like a normal card. The next player in turn order has to draw three cards and loses their turn.
Otherwise you can play it if the previous player played any Draw Card or Stack Card. The card increases the penalty by three cards and passes it onto the next player.
In either case, you choose the color that continues play.

Wild Stack Number
The Wild Stack Number card is the same as the Wild Stack 3 card with one change.
To determine the number of cards that the next player has to draw, you will reveal cards from the top of the Draw Pile until a number card is revealed. The number from the first revealed number card determines the number of cards that the next player will have to draw.

If the card is played in response to a Draw or Stack card, it will add the number of cards from the revealed card to the previous penalty.
Any cards you flip over to find a number card are placed on the bottom of the Discard Pile.
The player who played the card then chooses the color for the Discard Pile.

Swap Pack
The Swap Pack includes four new cards that make players swap cards.

Refresh Hand
When you play this card you take your entire hand and place it at the bottom of the Discard Pile. You will then draw a number of cards from the Draw Pile equal to the number of cards you discarded.

Refresh Hand cards can be placed on top of other Refresh Hand cards, or cards that match their color.

Swap 1
When you play the Swap 1 card, you randomly take a card from another player’s hand. You will then choose a card from your hand to give to the player that you took a card from.

You can play a Swap 1 card on top of another Swap 1 card, or a card that matches its color.

Wild Force Trade
The Wild Force Trade card is wild so it can be played at any time.
You will choose two players. You can choose yourself, or two other players. The two chosen players swap their hands.
You will then choose the color for the Discard Pile.

Wild Pass Hands
This card can be played at any time because it is wild.
When you play the card, all of the players will pass their hand to the next player in turn order. This is not optional. All players have to trade their hands so they have a new hand of cards.
After all of the cards are passed, you choose the color for the Discard Pile.
