One of the best feelings when playing a board game is that feeling when a game comes out of nowhere and really impresses you. While Clans is not for everyone, I was pleasantly surprised by its’ simplistic yet strategic gameplay.
Just like many other classic board games that have been turned into simple card games, Sorry the Card Game tries to simulate the game of Sorry in a quick card game. Sorry the Card Game is actually better than the original game in some aspects but it still relies too heavily on luck and ends too quickly.
Can you tell whether an urban myth is true or a hoax? That is the question asked in the game Urban Myth. Urban Myth provides some interesting trivia questions but is bogged down by some terrible gameplay mechanics.
1920’s racing. Old timey villains. The ability to play a hero or a villain. Jaunty Jalopies had so much potential to be a quirky, entertaining card game. Unfortunately Jaunty Jalopies does not live up to its’ potential.
