Objective
The objective of Soggy Doggy is to be the first player to make it around the entire board without making the dog spray you with water.
Setup
- Insert batteries into the bottom of the game unit. Turn the switch to the on side.
- Attach the two brackets into the slots in the bathtub.
- Connect the body frame to the two brackets.
- Place the Soggy Doggy fur over the body frame.
- Set the gameboard on a table or other flat surface. Place the assembled tub in the middle of the gameboard.
- Attach the shower attachment to the tub. Make sure the shower head is pointed towards the dog.
- Pour water into the tube until it reaches just below the rim. You should use cold tap water.
- Push down on the handle that has a paw on it a couple times. This should get the dog wet.
- Each player chooses a mover and places it on the Basket Space on the gameboard.
- Lay the four tokens by the gameboard.
- The youngest player starts the game.

How to Play Soggy Doggy
You will begin your turn by rolling the die. What you roll on the die determine what you will do on your turn.

Should you roll blue, pink, red or yellow, you will move your marker clockwise to the next unoccupied space that matches the color you rolled. You will then take an action based on what is printed on the space you landed on. The the space section below for more details.

If you roll a ? on the die, you will roll the die again and take the corresponding action.

Should you roll a paw print, you will take your mover and move it to the space in front of the player that is in first (closest to the finish).

After you complete your turn, play continues with the player on your left (clockwise).
Soggy Doggy Spaces

Paw Prints
If you land on a space that shows a handle with a paw print on it, you will push down on the paw print handle the corresponding number of times. Should the space has a one on it, you will push the handle once. If there is a two on the space, you will push the handle twice.

Dog Bone
Should you land on a space that shows a handle that has a dog bone on it, you will turn the dog bone handle clockwise half a turn (until it clicks). If the space has a one on it, you will turn the handle until you hear one click. Should the space have a two on it, you will turn the handle until you hear two clicks.

The Dog Shakes the Water Off
Each time a player turns the dog bone handle, there is a chance that Soggy Doggy will start to shake the water off. To stop the dog from shaking, you will turn the dog bone handle one half turn until you hear a clicking sound.
For making the dog shake off the water, you will move your mover back to the Basket Space (start space). You will take the token that matches your mover.

If the dog starts shaking off the water and you have your matching token, you can turn in the token in order to stay on your current space instead of having to go back to the Basket Space.

After you deal with the dog shaking off the water, play continues with the next player in a clockwise direction.
Winning the Game
The first player to make it back to the Basket Space after moving around the entire board wins the game.

Cleanup
After you are done playing the game, you should clean out the bathtub to prevent damage to the game.
Tip all of the water out of the bathtub. Press the paw print handle a couple to times to get all of the water out of the game unit. Use an absorbent cloth or towel to dry the dog. Let all of the game pieces dry out before putting them back into the box.
