While Ripley’s Believe It or Not! could have made for a solid trivia game, the addition of several pointless mechanics ruin the game.
TV Guide: The Game is perfectly fine, at least for fans of both trivia games and television. However, it is quite outdated (over twenty years old) and only about one topic, meaning TV buffs (especially fans of older shows) will have a huge advantage over other players.
While not quite as good as Ticket to Ride, Airlines Europe is another fantastic game made by Alan Moon that shows that a game doesn’t have to be complex to be satisfying.
