How to Play One Trick Pony
To begin each of your turns you will spin the spinner. What you spin on the spinner determines what you will do on your turn.
Should you spin a one on the spinner, you will take one animal that matches the color of the space you spun.

When you spin one of the green spaces, you will take the corresponding number of animals. You can choose animals of any color. For the 1-5 space, you will take between one and five animals. You can choose how many you want to take.

If you spin the blue space, you will take one animal from another player.

When you are ready to take an animal, you move your hand through the circle created by the spinning lasso. You will reach over the fence and take an animal corresponding to what you spun. Should you have to take more than one animal, you must take one animal and remove it through the lasso before you can pick up another animal.

After you have grabbed a number of animals equal to what you spun, your turn ends. You will move to the back of the line. The next player in the line then takes their turn.
Winning the Game
The players will keep taking turns until the lasso catches one of the players. The player that is caught by the lasso must put back any animal(s) that they just took on their current turn. They then have to give one animal to each other player from those they collected on previous turns.
All of the players count up the number of animals they were able to collect during the game. The player that collects the most animals wins the game.

Fixing the Lasso
Occasionally the lasso can get stuck and refuse to spin.
First you should try pulling the lasso out as far as you can. Try turning on the game again to see if the lasso is now working. If the lasso is still stuck, turn off the game unit. Open the rock door and position the lasso between the two wheels. Then guide the lasso through the two holes on the door edge. Finally close the door.
