Jenga Bridge Board Game: Rules for How to Play

Objective

The objective of Jenga Bridge is to be the last player remaining once the rest of the players have been eliminated.

Setup

  • Place the base in the middle of the table.
  • Attach the bridge to the base. Insert one of the pegs into each of the holes in the base. The pegs should be placed into the holes so the strings attached to the bridge are straight.
  • Create the Jenga tower on the center platform on the bridge. There should be three blocks on each layer. The blocks in each layer should go in the opposite direction than the previous layer.
  • Choose a player to start the game.

How to Play Jenga Bridge

On your turn you will try to remove one of the blocks from the tower. You can only use one of your hands to remove a block. You can choose any block from the tower as long as it is not on the top layer of the tower. In Jenga Bridge you can touch blocks to see if they are loose before you try to remove one.

If you successfully remove a block, place it on the top layer of the tower. If the top tower has three blocks in it, create the next layer for the tower. The blocks in each layer should go in the opposite direction as the previous layer. Play then passes to the next player. The instructions don’t specify if play moves clockwise or counterclockwise.

Removing a block and moving it to the top of the tower
The first player successfully removed a block from the tower. They take the block and place it on top of the tower.

Should you knock over the tower when trying to remove or place a block, you are eliminated from the game. Rebuild the tower and the rest of the players continue playing the game.

Knock down the tower
This player ended up knocking down the tower as they were trying to remove a block. The player who knocked down the tower is eliminated from the game.

Winning the Game

Players will keep playing the game removing blocks and placing them at the top of the tower. The game ends when only one player remains. The last remaining player wins Jenga Bridge.
