Objective
The objective of Flip Kick Soccer is to be the first player/team to score ten goals on the other team.
Setup
If you need help assembling the board, see our complete assembly guide.
- Each player chooses a side and sits behind their team’s goal. If there are more than two players, two players can share a team. Each player sits on one side of the board and controls one of the players.
- Take out one of the balls and place it near the field. The rest of the balls remain in the box.
- The player who most recently kicked a soccer ball starts the game.
How to Play Flip Kick Soccer
The starting player places the ball on the center spot on their side of the field. Once one of their players touch the ball, the game begins.

Both players/teams are playing at the same time. You can move your players anywhere on your side of the field in order to block shots or shoot the ball towards the other side of the field. During the game you are trying to kick the ball into the other team’s goal. You can slide your players back and forth using the rods. When kicking the ball you can choose to spin your player in order to get more power on the shot.

During the game you can keep your two players attached or you can break them apart so you can cover two different parts of the field. In order to reconnect them, you just snap them together with the inner connector.
One unique thing in Flip Kick Soccer is that you can perform flip kicks. If your two players are connected you can trap the ball between them. You will then flip both players forward and then let go of the ball in order to fling the ball towards the other players net.
You can never use your hands to touch the ball during the game. If you ever touch the ball with your hand, the gameplay stops. The other team gets to take a penalty kick.
Should you kick the ball out of the field, the other player picks up the ball and drops it anywhere on their side of the field.
Penalty Kicks
The player that is rewarded the penalty kicks places the ball on their side of the field in the center spot.
The defending team has to connect their two players and places both of them inside the goal box near the net. The defending team cannot move their players until the other team touches the ball with one of their players. If they move their players early, the other team gets another penalty kick.
The player kicks their penalty kick. If they score, the penalty kick is scored the same as a normal goal. If the player misses, the game continues normally.

Scoring
Each time you shoot the ball into your opponents net, you score one point.

Move your marker forward one space on the scoring track.

The team that was scored on then gets to take the next kickoff. They will place the ball on the center spot on their side of the field. After the ball is kicked off, the game returns to normal.
Winning the Game
The first player/team to score ten points wins the game.
