Danger Noodle! Card Game: Rules for How to Play

Setup

Shuffle all of the cards. Place the cards face down in the middle of the table.
The oldest player starts the game.

How to Play Danger Noodle!

To start your turn you will grab the deck of cards and place it face down in front of you. You will begin by flipping over the top card from the deck of cards and placing it face up on the table.

Flip over first card — For their first card this player flipped over a Velocirabbit which is worth one point. The player can either stop their turn, or flip over another card.

After you flip over a card, you can either choose to flip over another card, or end your turn. On your turn you can keep flipping over cards until you either choose to stop, reveal a Danger Noodle! card, or reveal a negative value card.

End of turn in Danger Noodle — This player flipped over two more cards. Their third card is negative, so they have to end their turn. This player currently has a total of five points.

Should you reveal a Danger Noodle! card, you have to discard all of the cards from your hand. The players will create a discard pile in the middle of the table.

Reveal Danger Noodle card — For their third card this player revealed a Danger Noodle card. Their turn ends and they discard all of the cards that they flipped over.

Whenever you reveal a Special card, you will read the instructions on the card and immediately follow them. See the corresponding section below for each specific card.

After you have finished your turn, play passes clockwise.

Cards of Danger Noodle!

Positive Value

Positive value cards add their value to your hand’s total value.

Negative Value

Each negative value card subtracts their value from your hand’s total value. Whenever you reveal a negative value card, your turn ends.

Danger Noodle!

Should you reveal a Danger Noodle! card, you must discard all of the cards from your hand. Your turn also immediately ends.

Anti-Venom

After you draw the Anti-Venom card, you are safe from the next three Danger Noodle! cards you reveal.

Friend of Jack

The Friend of Jack card lets you pick one of your positive or negative cards to discard.

Kill A Fella

Choose a positive or negative card in front of another player. You will discard the chosen card.

Snake Eyes

When you reveal the Snake Eyes card, you will look at the top five cards from the deck. You can’t tell the other players what the next five cards are.

Steel-Toed Boots

Choose one of the negative cards from in front of you. You will pass the chosen negative card to another player of your choice.

Winning Danger Noodle!

The goal of Danger Noodle! is to reach a sum of exactly 30 points. Positive cards add to your total while negative cards subtract from your total. The first player to reach exactly 30 points (not more than 30 points), wins the game.
