Setup
- Each player chooses a color and takes the corresponding set of dice.
- Shuffle the recipe cards and place them in a pile facedown in the middle of the table.
- Place the timer in the middle of the table.
- The youngest player starts the game. Play moves clockwise during the game.
How to Play Candy Land Bake-Off
To begin each of your turns you will start the timer. Your turn lasts until the timer runs out.
Flip over the top recipe card from the middle of the table. If there is already a card face up on the table, you will not flip over another card. There are three different kinds of recipe cards in the game. Each are handled differently. See the recipe cards section below for more details on how to handle each type of card.
Once there is a face up card on the table, you will roll your dice and try to match the symbols from the card. You can roll your dice as many times as you need to. If you roll a symbol that you need, you can set it aside as you try to roll for the rest of the symbols. You should try to roll the dice as quickly as you can as you only have until the timer runs out.

Once you have rolled all of the symbols present on the face up recipe card, you will collect the card and place it in front of yourself. If you still have time you will flip over the next recipe card and try to complete it the same way as the previous card.

Your turn ends as soon as the timer dings or you flip over an Overbaked card. If the timer dings while you are trying to complete one of the cards, the next player begins their turn trying to complete the recipe instead of flipping over a new card. The player to your left takes the next turn.
Recipe Cards
There are three types of recipe cards in Candy Land Bake Off which players handle in different ways.

Bake-Off
When a Bake-Off (blue) card is revealed, all of the players get to roll their dice at the same time. All of the players are competing to be the first player to roll all of the symbols shown on the card. The first player to roll all of the ingredients yells “Bake-Off” and takes the card.

The current player will then continue their turn even if another player collected the Bake-Off card.
Bake-Off cards are worth two points at the end of the game.

Solo Bake
When a Solo Bake card is revealed, only the current player rolls their dice. They will be the only player that can collect the card during their turn.

Solo Bake cards are worth one point at the end of the game.

Overbaked
When you reveal an Overbaked card, you turn immediately ends even if there is time left on the timer.
The next player to your left then takes their turn. They get to use the rest of the time left on the timer from your turn as well as the whole timer for their turn.
Winning the Game
The game ends once players have collected all of the recipe cards. Each player counts up the points they scored during the game. Each Bake-Off card is worth two points, while each Solo Bake card is worth one point. The player with the most points wins the game.

If there is a tie, draw one of the Bake-Off cards at random. Whichever tied player rolls all of the symbols on the card first wins the game.
