Every once and a while you come across a board game that truly surprises you. Square Off is one of those games.
While Jarl: The Vikings Tile-Laying Game really innovates on the Chess formula, an analysis paralysis problem prevents it from being as good as it could have been.
Shove Off has one interesting mechanic but doesn’t really distinguish itself from the other “get x number of items in a row” games.
