I have played a lot of board games and Sheriff of Nottingham is arguably the best bluffing game that I have ever played that everyone that has any interest in bluffing games should have in their collection.
Lie Detector The Crime Solving Card Game has some interesting ideas for a deduction game but due to the reliance on luck it ends up being a pretty average card game.
While Phase 10 has a lot of problems, it is a simple card game that may appeal to people looking for some mindless fun.

While not quite as good as Ticket to Ride, Airlines Europe is another fantastic game made by Alan Moon that shows that a game doesn’t have to be complex to be satisfying.
