Sushi Go Amigurumi Crochet Patterns: Chopsticks, Pudding and Sashimi (Part Three)

Finalizing the Sushi Go amigurumi patterns (part one, part two), this week I am looking at the chopsticks, pudding and sashimi amigurumis. The chopsticks is approximately six inches tall and two inches wide. The pudding is approximately 3 inches tall and 3 inches wide. Each sashimi piece is approximately 3.5 inches wide and one inch thick.

Crocheted Body Chopsticks

Body

For the body you will use the yellow and brown yarn. Start with the yellow yarn.

Round 1: CH x 2 (2 stitches)

Round 2: SC x 6 in the first CH (6 stitches)

Round 3: | SC, INC | x 6 (18 stitches)

Switch to brown yarn.

Round 4: | SC, INC, SC | x 6 (24 stitches)

Round 5-17: SC x 24 (24 stitches)

Round 18: DEC x 12 (12 stitches)

Round 19: DEC x 6 (6 stitches)

Fasten off leaving enough yarn to sew up the bottom of the body. Add the desired amount of stuffing and then sew up the hole.

Sticks

For the sticks you will use the brown yarn.

Round 1: CH x 2 (2 stitches)

Round 2: SC x 6 in the first CH (6 stitches)

Rounds 3-16: SC x 6 (6 stitches)

Fasten off leaving enough yarn to sew the sticks to the body. Stuff the sticks with the desired amount of stuffing.

Assembly

The first step of assembly involves sewing the sticks onto the top of the body.

Next I used red, white, yellow, and light blue yarn to add the lines onto the sticks.

Finally I used black, red, pink, and white felt to create the face. I glued the felt onto the body using felt glue.

Body

The pudding body uses the tan/yellowish brown yarn.

Round 1: CH x 2 (2 stitches)

Round 2: SC x 6 in the first CH (6 stitches)

Round 3: INC x 6 (12 stitches)

Round 4: | SC, INC | x 6 (18 stitches)

Round 5: | SC, INC, SC | x 6 (24 stitches)

Rounds 6-12: SC x 24 (24 stitches)

Round 13: | SC, DEC, SC | x 6 (18 stitches)

Round 14: | SC, DEC | x 6 (12 stitches)

Round 15: DEC x 6 (6 stitches)

Fasten off leaving enough yarn to close up the body. Add the desired amount of stuffing before closing up the body.

Chocolate Topping

For the chocolate topping you will use the dark brown yarn.

Round 1: CH x 2 (2 stitches)

Round 2: SC x 6 in the first CH (6 stitches)

Round 3: INC x 6 (12 stitches)

Round 4: | SC, INC | x 6 (18 stitches)

Round 5: | SC, INC, SC | x 6 (24 stitches)

Round 6: | SC x 2, INC, SC | x 6 (30 stitches)

Round 7: SC x 30 (30 stitches)

Round 8: SC x 10, Flip, SC x 9, Flip, SC x 8, SL x 8, SC x 5, SL x 8 (48 stitches)

Fasten off leaving enough yarn to sew the chocolate topping onto the body.

Crocheted Strawberry

Strawberry

For the strawberry you will use the red yarn.

Round 1: CH x 2 (2 stitches)

Round 2: SC x 6 in the first CH (6 stitches)

Round 3: | SC, INC | x 3 (9 stitches)

Round 4: | SC, INC, SC | x 3 (12 stitches)

Rounds 5-6: SC x 12 (12 stitches)

Round 7: DEC x 6 (6 stitches)

Fasten off leaving enough yarn to sew up the hole. Add the desired amount of stuffing to the strawberry before sewing up the hole.

Assembly

The first step of assembly involves sewing the chocolate topping to the top of the body.

Next sew the strawberry to the chocolate topping.

Use the black and red felt to add the face to the pudding amigurumi.

Finally I added some green felt to the strawberry.

Crocheted Body Sashimi

Body

For the Sashimi you will make three Sashimi bodies one with pink, orange, and white yarn.

Round 1: CH x 10 (10 stitches), Flip

Round 2: SC x 22 starting with the first CH and going around both sides of the CH stitches. (22 stitches)

Round 3: 3INC, SC x8, 3INC, SC, 3INC, SC x 8, 3INC, SC (30 stitches) 3INC is the same as an INC but uses three stitches instead of two.

Round 4: SC, 3INC, SC x 10, 3INC, SC x 3, 3INC, SC x 10, 3INC, SC x 2 (38 stitches)

Rounds 5-7: SC x 38 (38 stitches)

Round 8: DEC x 19 (19 stitches)

Round 9: SC, DEC x 9 (10 stitches)

Round 10: DEC x 5 (5 stitches)

Fasten off leaving enough yarn to sew up the hole. Add the desired amount of stuffing before sewing up the hole.

Assembly

The assembly for the Sashimi mostly involves creating the faces for the individual pieces. If you want you can also choose to sew the pieces together.

For the pink Sashimi’s face you will use the black, pink, and red felt. You can attach the felt to the body using the felt glue.
